Oliver Lenord presents ongoing work on the “Loop Replacement” method developed during the PHyMoS project and its application for realtime capable Model of a jet pump at the 18th MODPROD (Center for Model-Based Cyber-Physical Product Development) workshop in Linköping, Sweden. Due to the need for an iterative solver the original set of equations describing the flow of compressible fluids is not applicable. The symbolic surrogate is able to approximate the solution of this equation system by explicit expressions with high accuracy. The preliminary results of this example show the high potential of this approach to enable realtime applications of complex mathematical models for embedded software development.
